When we process your entry we need to be able to match your file names to the titles on your entry form. The following is a good convention so that we can recognize files easily for processing:-

FamilyName-GivenName-P1.jpg

Use the suffixes -P1, -P2, -P3, -P4 for pictorial images and use -N1, -N2, -N3, -N4 for nature images.

For example, if the person entering is Brian Smith say, then name the image files this way for pictorial entries:-

Smith-Brian-P1.jpg
Smith-Brian-P2.jpg
Smith-Brian-P3.jpg
Smith-Brian-P4.jpg

and name your image files this way for nature entries:-

Smith-Brian-N1.jpg
Smith-Brian-N2.jpg
Smith-Brian-N3.jpg
Smith-Brian-N4.jpg

Images 1..4 should correspond to titles 1..4 on your entry form.

If you wish, you may include the titles after the section suffix. For instance:-
Smith-Brian-P1-Little_Brown_Jug.jpg

• Image files will only be accepted if submitted on a compact disc (CD).
• Maximum Image Dimensions when viewed with correct orientation:
  • Horizontal:- 1024 pixels maximum
  • Vertical:- 768 pixels maximum
    Images larger than these dimensions will not display correctly and will be clipped so the judges will not see your image the way you intended.
    
• File format must be RGB JPEG for IBM PC.
• Maximum size of closed file is 700 kilobytes.
• Images will be judged using a projector operating in sRGB colour space.
• Although not essential, it is recommended that image files be tagged with sRGB IEC61966-2.1 colour profile.
