Maroba Lodge is a 53-bed aged care facility that is designed to promote the village atmosphere and socialisation. The village backdrop features a hair dressing salon, a library, kiosk, and a tea room. These areas are complemented by a large auditorium and warm, inviting solarium areas.

The residents' units are designed to meet the ongoing needs of residents as they age. Each unit has ensuite facilities, small kitchenette, and private outside access to level landscaped garden areas. Wardrobe and storage space is premium. Each unit is serviced by a vital call alert system that is conveniently placed.

The surrounds promote privacy for residents yet encourage the opportunity to gather together in comfortable and attractive surroundings. Respite services are available in the general hostel, and we encourage older people in the community to avail themselves of these services. This provides a first hand opportunity to experience the hostel lifestyle prior to admission.

We boast a 12 bed secure unit for residents with dementing illness who may require more support and supervision.

Braye Park wing has 12 beds and a state of the art alarm system which allows comprehensive coverage of residents whereabouts in the unit, and monitors all doors to external areas.

Staff receive ongoing training in dementia care and there is a consistency of staff for resident comfort and emotional well being.

Family involvement is an important aspect of achieving successful care outcomes in Braye Park Wing and the general hostel.
