Freeway route from Sydney
1. Take the F3 Freeway North to the very end at the New England Highway.
2. Turn left onto the New England Highway and proceed through Maitland, Branxton to Singleton. (Beware the permanent speed camera at Lochinvar.)
3. In Singleton, turn right at the first set of traffic lights, immediately past McDonalds.
4. Follow this road to the T-junction. Turn right on to Queen St.
5. Proceed over Hunter River and continue straight. (Queen St becomes Mitchells Flat Rd. Might also be shown
on some maps as Gresford Rd.)
6. After 5 km turn left onto Mirannie Rd.
7. After a further 5 km turn left again into Westbrook Rd.
8. Continue 4 km to Glen-Nevis. After two rises in the road, you will see Glen-Nevis Homestead atop a hill on the left. The gateway is clearly labelled "Glen Nevis".
