Corrigan's Cottage
Antiques & Collectables

Imagine staying in a B&B with its very own antiques and collectables shop 100 metres away "at the bottom of the paddock." That is what Glen-Nevis has in Corrigan's Cottage, an 1860s slab cottage in a lovely cottage garden setting in superb country scenery.

Corrigan's Cottage
The cottage was moved by John from Long Point, 20 kilometres South of Singleton. Every slab, stone, and sheet of iron was numbered, to be faithfully rebuilt at Glen-Nevis exactly as it was built in 1862.

Opening Hours
The cottage is open to the public on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm, however for guests staying at the Glen-Nevis B&B it will be opened on request.

Antiques & Collectables for sale
Corrigan's Cottage is full of interesting country antiques. Every room is furnished according to its original use. For example, the bedroom has a bed, bed linen and a dressing table, etc. The kitchen has a dresser, tables, chairs, pots and pans and so on. A step back into yesteryear, but everything is for sale.

We also sell china, linen and lace, ephemera and old books, jewellery, old tools and all sorts of curios from the past. We are always interested in buying anything old and interesting.

So please come along and browse through our charming cottage - you're sure to find something that reminds you of Grandma's that will make a wonderful souvenir of your trip to the lovely Hunter Valley.

"What a jewel! We have had a beautiful stay. The setting magnificent, Laurel & John, such relaxed and accommodating hosts, breakfast scrumptious!!" J.W. & P.W. Blaxland
