The floral and tropical fruit characters of this variety are captured in the bottle. Showing a hint of sweetness, it has a crisp acidity which will allow bottle aging potential for the enthusiast.
Full of crisp granny smith apples, tropical limes with a great dry acid finish. This vivacious yet delicate young wine shows how well this variety grows in a cool climate and has the potential to build into a fine example of aged Riesling.
A three and a half star Winestate rating.
A lovely varietal Semillon which has all the attributes necessary to develop the soft toasty richness associated with aged wines from this region. 1 gold, 3 bronze medals and a three and a half star rating in Winestate magazine.
Made entirely from fruit grown on our own vineyard. The predominant fruit characters are complimented by tight, nutty vanillin oak and a lingering freshness. 3 Silver and 1Bronze medal.
Intense rose petal and passionfruit aroma and
flavours, have been achieved through the selection of very ripe fruit ideal for
the production of this style. At similar levels of residual sweetness to our previous vintages, although slightly
finer in structure and colour intensity, this is again a wine to enjoy with
fresh fruit, vintage cheeses or your favourite dessert.
Chambourcin and a splash of Chardonnay come together to produce refreshing aromas of strawberries, guava, peach and watermelon, with a long, clean dry finish.
This intensely coloured, richly structured Sparking red is a blend of McLaren Vale Shiraz, Orange Merlot and Hunter Chambourcin chosen for their individual aromas, flavours and varying degrees of tannin, mouth feel and acidity. 1 bronze medal.
A French hybrid variety only relatively new to Australia, Chambourcin produces wine with intense purple colour, plenty of cherry/plummy flavours and minimal amounts of silky tannin.
From the 1,000 metre high slopes of Mount Canobolas this beautifully rich but soft style exhibits all sorts of red berry, mocha, anise and vanillin aromas and flavours.1 bronze medal, three star Winestate rating.
A good example of what Hunter Shiraz is all about. Deep colour, peppery with a hint of leather and chocolate. 3 bronze.
'The Ghillie' is an exceptional parcel of 100% Hunter Valley Shiraz, which will only be released from the very best vintages. The fruit has been sourced from a low yielding vineyard originally planted in the late 1960's, producing intense varietal characters. 'The Ghillie' was matured in predominantly new American oak for 14 months. Our flagship wine will
definitely reward cellaring. We recommend decanting this wine as it will undoubtedly throw a crust in time. 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal.
A Bordeaux style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc sourced
from the Limestone Coast (SA) and Orange (NSW). The bouquet displays a
combination of cassis and berry characters and palate richness of coffee,
chocolate and vanillin oak.
