First Grade Premiership 1995 - 1997

The start of the season was repeatedly delayed due to the continuing refusal of the Super League aligned clubs to take part in the ARL's competition. As a result the ARL had to abandon its proposed draw, and instead reused the 1995 draw, with home and away games reversed. You can view the original ARL or Super League draws for 1996.

All of the Super League clubs except Auckland forfeited their first round matches, the first A Grade Premiership forfeits since 1909.
