PlugInsRecipe Finder Deluxe is a powerful, yet easy to use recipe storage and retrieval program. It works on Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP platforms and on Macintosh versions prior to OS X (sorry, there are NO plans to produce an OS X version).
Stores recipe name, course, number of serves, cooking time, preparation time, recipe complexity, source, nutrition information, ethnicity, ingredients and method as well as any search categories you wish to specify.
Checkboxes to indicate if a recipe has been tested or can be frozen or microwaved
You can search by recipe name, ingredients, course, category, source, difficulty, ethnicity or any combination of these.
Lightning fast searches for recipes matching detailed specifications eg you could search for all dessert recipes that: have been tested; use chocolate and sugar and butter; use either almond or sultanas; don't use milk; can be prepared and cooked in less than 60 minutes (a search through 1,500 recipes for those that meet these specifications takes somewhere between 2 and 12 seconds depending on the speed of your computer).
Converts recipe ingredients and method between metric and US/UK measurement systems

Recognises and automatically imports files exported from Recipe Finder Deluxe, Recipe Finder Pro or from the popular PC recipe programs Meal-Master, Compu-Chef, MicroCook and MasterCook II
Exports files in Recipe Finder, Meal-Master, MasterCook or plain text format
You can generate and print a shopping list for the chosen recipe(s)
Customisable reports. You can easily set things like the size of the left and right margins or whether you print in landscape or portrait.
Supports abbreviations for common terms like chopped, sliced, diced etc to speed up ingredient entry. For example typing 2 carrots, ch will appear as 2 carrots, chopped when a recipe is saved.

Save a photo along with the recipe if you wish
Create, save and print menus of favorite recipes. For example you could save the menu from a dinner party or special dinner for later retrieval and reuse.
You can download Recipe Finder Deluxe from our downloads area and use it for free for 14 days in order to evaluate the program. If you decide to keep using the program you should register it. For details on registration (including online payment via credit card) visit our registration section.

The demo file available for download here is unlocked and fully functional and comes with 40 yummy gourmet recipes from the kitchen of the author so you can try out all of the features of the program.
