Listed below are the PlugIns currently available, as well as the latest version number and a brief description of what the PlugIn does. To download an individual PlugIn, click its name in the list below. If you want to download ALL PlugIns, go to our downloads area via the link in the panel at left.

To tell if you have the latest version of a PlugIn, choose About PlugIns from the Help menu, then choose the name of the PlugIn you're interested in from list that pops up. A dialog box will appear which, among other things, will show you the PlugIn version.

Category Builder

Automatically adds a category to a recipe's category list if it uses certain ingredients. For example you could add a category of Poultry to all recipes that have chicken or turkey in their ingredients list.

Category Delete

2.0

Automatically deletes a category if it appears in a recipe's category list. For example you could remove the category of Meats from all recipes where that category is used.

Core Filters *

Contains the import filters used to import and export recipes in Recipe Finder compact and MealMaster formats. Only download if you need an updated version of the PlugIn

Course Builder

2.0

Automatically sets a recipe's course if a specified category appears in the recipe's category list. For example you could set the recipe course to Dessert for all recipes which have a category of Puddings.

HTML Filter

Allows you to import and export recipes in Recipe Finder's HTML format. These are then ready for immediate posting on web pages. We use this PlugIn for recipes on our monthly recipes page.

MasterCook Filter

With this PlugIn installed, Recipe Finder Deluxe supports recipe import and export in MasterCook format. MasterCook is a recipe format used on some online services and bulletin board systems for the exchange of recipes.

Menu Manager

With this PlugIn installed you can organise recipes into menus of recipes for speedy retrieval of those recipes at a later date (eg a Dinner Party menu would be a list of the recipes you used for a dinner party and choosing it would let you print out those recipes next time you wanted to use that dinner party menu)

Plain Filters

With this PlugIn installed, Recipe Finder Deluxe supports recipe import in CompuChef and MicroCook formats. It also allows you to import and export recipes in Recipe Finder ASCII format. ASCII format recipe files are larger than those created using Recipe Finder compact format, but are useful for emailing or posting on newsgroups.

Standardise categories

Allows you to replace non standard recipe categories with standard ones that you prefer. For example you could alter all recipes that have a category of Stir-Fry or Stirfry so they have a category of Stir Fry instead. This can be very useful when searching for recipes by category.

Support library *

This contains a number of code components used by Recipe Finder Deluxe. You CANNOT use Recipe Finder Deluxe without this PlugIn. Only download if you need an updated version of the PlugIn. The support library consists of two files - OzLib.dll and RFDLib.dll.
