Listed below are the PlugIns currently available, as well as the latest version number and a brief description of what the PlugIn does. To download an individual PlugIn, click its name in the list below. If you want to download ALL PlugIns, go to our downloads area via the link in the panel at left.

To tell if you have the latest version of a PlugIn, click on it while in the Finder, then choose get Info from the File menu. A dialog box will appear which, among other things, will show you the PlugIn version.

Description

Category Builder

1.1

Automatically adds a category to a recipe's category list if it uses certain ingredients. For example you could add a category of Poultry to all recipes that have chicken or turkey in their ingredients list.

Category Delete

1.1

Automatically deletes a category if it appears in a recipe's category list. For example you could remove the category of Meats from all recipes where that category is used.

Course Builder

1.0

Automatically sets a recipe's course if a specified category appears in the recipe's category list. For example you could set the recipe course to Dessert for all recipes which have a category of Puddings.

Database Updater

1.0

Converts databases created with Recipe Finder Deluxe versions 2.1 or earlier to a format that is compatible with Recipe Finder Deluxe version 2.2 and later.

HTML

1.1

This PlugIn allows you to export recipes in HTML format ready for immediate posting on web pages.

MasterCook

1.1

With this PlugIn installed, Recipe Finder Deluxe supports recipe export in MasterCook format. MasterCook is a recipe format used on some online services and bulletin board systems for the exchange of recipes.

Meal-Master *

With this PlugIn installed, Recipe Finder Deluxe supports recipe export in Meal-Master format. Meal-Master is a popular PC recipe format used on many online services and bulletin board systems for the exchange of recipes between different recipe programs. Only download if you need an updated version of the PlugIn

Menu Manager

With this PlugIn installed you can organise recipes into menus of recipes for speedy retrieval of those recipes at a later date (eg a Dinner Party menu would be a list of the recipes you used for a dinner party and choosing it would let you print out those recipes next time you wanted to use that dinner party menu).

Report Adjust

1.1

Allows you to customise the margins on reports. You can choose the size of left and right margins for your recipe printouts eg you could choose a 1" left margin and a 1/2" right margin to allow for holes to be punched in the left margin.

Report Delete

Allows you to selectively delete report formats not currently in use. For example you could delete all the ImageWriter report formats if you only print on a LaserWriter printer.

Installs the correct set of reports for use with your printer. This PlugIn comes with a complete set of report formats for LaserWriter and ImageWriter printers.

Show Settings *

Displays values of various Recipe Finder Deluxe settings. This is primarily intended as a tool to assist with identifying problems with the program

Standardise categories

1.1

Allows you to replace non standard recipe categories with standard ones that you prefer. For example you could alter all recipes that have a category of Stir-Fry or Stirfry so they have a category of Stir Fry instead. This can be very useful when searching for recipes by category.
