Xregal is the X11 interface to the Internet Movie Database when it is installed locally on a Unix system. Why xregal? The name is in appreciation of the Regal Cinema in Birmingham Gardens, near where I live. The Regal is the only independent (i.e.  not owned by a national/multi-national company) suburban cinema in Newcastle, Australia that survived the video age and continues to operate. I lived next door to it for a couple of years and have seen many fine movies there.

Final Release

Note that xregal requires the moviedb3.7 package to be installed first. Name completion facilities in xregal require that Philippe Queinnec's imoviedb package be installed. These packages and the associated movie data files can be found at:
