LAY MINISTRY

The Parish has, and encourages, the involvement of the Laity in the life of
the Church through Chalice Assistants, Intercessions, Home Communions,
Church Readers, the Servers Guild, Religious Education in the Schools,
Bible study leaders, group leaders for the Alpha programs, Pilgrimage,
Servers, Ways and Means, Kids Club, Sunday School.

The Parish acknowledges that for any faith community which is outward looking and which cares for the needs of its own people, it needs a broadly based pool of 'ministers' to support and work alongside the Rector.

Linked with the established lay ministry, the Parish is always welcoming those who can share their gifts and talents, and those who see their contribution as being quietly supportive through prayer.
