ECUMENICAL ENVIRONMENT

The Parish enjoys good relationships with other churches within the area, through the Ministers' Fraternal, Religious Education in the Schools, and the Merewether Newcastle Inter Church Council. It joins with other local churches to provide an annual Christmas Carol Service at the Junction Village and promotes all local denominational services for Christmas and Easter through a combined inter-denominational letter-box drop. The Parish also promotes and joins with other denominations for ecumenical Bible study groups.
