If you are looking for a Society that is relaxed and friendly, but is also into re-enactment not fantasy. Then we might just be what you have been looking for.

The Huscarls are growing all the time and most of the people who are joining the society point out their reasons are many. They like our family atmosphere, the fact that we do combat but unlike so many other groups it's only a small part of what we do. But the main reason we hear time after time, is the way we help each other and how friendly we are to new members.

The Society has a large range of information to help your entrance into re-enactment to be smooth and trouble free. We hold workshops on many subjects and we are always looking for new memberss who might have some skill they could also pass on to us.

Most of our members are based in a few branches (we call them Boroughs) around Australia. But we do have a few members in regional parts of Australia who are too far away to be able to join a "Borough" as well as a few people in other countries who are working towards starting Boroughs there.

So if you believe that you have a desire to re-enact the same time and place as The Huscarls do and you have the need to always improve the standards and accuracy of your gear. Then we might be the club for you.
