His daughter Naomi Eldridge migrated to Australia as a 19 year old on the Scottish Hero and she arrived at Rockhampton Queensland on 12 Dec 1877. She married Francis Reidy on 22 Dec 1881 and they had 8 children in Queensland. Naomi died on 11 Jul 1928.
| Two great grandsons migrated to New South Wales, Australia. They were James Thomas Eldridge who departed in 1949 on the Orcades from London to Sydney with his wife Doris Harriet and two children and lived in Sydney before moving to Wagga Wagga in 1970 and his brother Denis George Eldridge who migrated in 1959 on the Strathaird with his wife and son and lived in Sydney. James Thomas died on 28 Feb 1999 at Wagga Wagga and Denis George died on 5 Dec 1980, late of Alexandria. |
