John remarried in 1840 to Ann Pridgeon. She was born at Surfleet, Lincolnshire. Their first two children were born at Pinchbeck with the remainder born at Gosberton. John was buried on 6 Apr 1879 at Surfleet, Lincolnshire aged 71 and Ann was buried there on 28 Dec 1885 aged 74.
John Eldridge born 1836 migrated to Ontario Canada from Liverpool on the Circassian arriving at Quebec on 27 Jun 1880. His wife Mary and 8 of their children from William James to Walter migrated to Ontario Canada from Liverpool on the Parisian arriving at Quebec on 30 Sep 1882. William James married in the USA and had 3 children before returning to Canada in 1892. John's daughter Emily Ann married William Whenham in 1883 and they migrated from Liverpool on the Circassian arriving on 7 May 1883 at Quebec before settling in Bruce County, Ontario. Records suggest John's son John Thomas migrated to Canada in 1881 and and he moved to Texas, USA where his son John Kime Eldridge was born before returning to Canada in 1894.
