Welcome

Hello and welcome to Version 3.0 of the Randyte Zone. This site has been updated to allow a reorganisation of some of the content, as well as to incorporate a few new 'bells and whistles'. HTML has come a long way since the early versions of this site. Although my philosophy of web design remains simillar to when the previous version of the site was produced in 1997, the changes that have taken place over the last four years must be taken into consideration.

This is an unrated site..

This web site serves as an online collection of information about myself, my interests, and as a small collection of things I have written, both academically/professionally and just for fun. I have not attempted to rate this web site using any of the content-rating scheme as each page would likely require a different rating, and what might be acceptable in one scheme might not be in another. So my simple advice is "if you see something you don't like - use your back arrow."

Site Layout

The 'About Me' page is, well, about me. It's a a brief online profile and also provides a link to my resume.

The 'Economics Stuff' page is dedicated to my economic work. This page contains an assortment of material, such as material I have written during my undergraduate, honours and PhD studies. There is also links to my teaching material and other economic material.

'Censorship' page is dedicated to my writing and research on free speech and censorship

From the 'People and Place's page you can get access to information and pictures about friends and associates. Please be aware that these pages will often be relatively heavy on the images and so may take a little longer to download.

And well, the 'Links' page is a page of links to my most often visited sites. It's the page I use as my browser homepage as it gives me quick access to all the sites I use regularly.

Can't view a page?

If for some reason you can't view a page, please email me. I'm especially interested if you think you can't access a page because it is being blocked by a filter installed by your ISP, employer, school or college.

Old site stuff

If you are looking for something from a previous version of my site which doesn't appear to be here any more, email me. I have archived most of my old site on my hard drive or on CD-ROM so I can probably find whatever it was you were looking for. Most content will still be available though, just accessed in a slightly different way.
