Announcing a brand new product

As part of our never ending pursuit of building better equipment for the vermiculturist we are pleased to introduce the all new VI Super Sieve. A high quality vermicast power driven clarifying sieve, to make the job of sieving solid cast simple and commercial. Traditionally vermiculturists have done it hard with back breaking manual sieving. As we said when we developed the Easy Rota series of compost worm separators “There had to be a better way” The VI Super Sieve is that better way.

The VI Super Sieve has several unique advantages and features:

  • It is power driven from regular 240 or 110 volt supply.
  • It has an optional holding trailer and a soon to be released conveyor lifter.
  • It has an adjustable capstan to control the angle and therefore the throughput.
  • It has an electronically controlled variable motor speed to get the best oscillation rate.
  • It can be direct fed by a small bucket loader such as a Bobcat.
  • There are three screen sizes (There is one screen to your specification comes with the machine)
  • We can build the design to custom sizes and accept different sized trailers.
  • Here are no moving dangerous components to adjust or get caught on.
  • The machine is robust and built to work hard at a commercial level.
  • *  Powerful oscillating electric motor and heavy duty bearings and bearing blocks all fully contained in safety box.

The capstan controls the angle of flow, heavy duty springs suspend the sieve. The variable oscillation box is totally enclosed, the speed controller and ON/OFF switch  is fully water proof.

A range of screen sizes from M5 to M25 is available, the VI Super Sieve comes with a standard M10 screen (shown in the middle)

The early forerunner to the all new VI Super Sieve is the prototype shown above and still running ten years later
