Oi

Info

'Oi!" started on the 16th of November, 1997, during Ausmusic month, originally on Sunday nights from 10-11pm, but as of the 5th of January 1998 it can be heard Monady nights 11pm to 1am on 103.7 FM (Newcastle). The signal reaches from about the Central Coast to the Great Lakes.

As of Monday 13th April, 1998, joining Marty on the show is a cohost who is providing a bit of vocal attitude with a capital A. His name is Stuart and he has a website in development, so when it is done you can check it, and him, out. Expect a bit more of discussion and irreverant ranting from now on.

This program is dedicated to playing Australian music that is a little bit bent. I prefer that word because 'alternative' is an overused term that no longer has any meaning. So I hope to play as diverse a range as i can. From punk to pop, pyschobilly to ska, rock to rockabilly and everything in between.

If you would like to make a request you can do so here. The only conditions are that it is Australian (New Zealand stuff may slip through every now and again) and it must not be mainstream.

If you do not live in the transmission range, never fear because you can hear the show over the net using Realaudio. The link to the stream can be found here.
