Would you like to Have your child Baptised (Christened)?
Baptisms are generally performed on the first and third Sunday’s of the month at All Saints’ Church in Singleton at 11.30am. A maximum of 4 children are baptised on each of these days.
If you would like to have your child Baptised in one of our country Churches, then they are usually performed on the Sunday when that Church has a Eucharist, however alternate times may be possible depending on the availability of our priests.
For these times, please call the Parish Office between 9.15am and 1.15pm, Monday to Friday on (02) 6571 1414 or email us on this link.
Booking You will need to book you baptism through the Parish Office on the above phone number. The information we will require for the records is, parents’ names and occupations, your home address and telephone number, the names of your chosen Godparents, and of course the chosen names for your child.
Godparents When you book your child in for a baptism, please have the correct spelling of your Godparents’ names. The usual number of Godparents for a child is 4.
Fee There is no set fee for a Baptism but we do ask for a donation.
Interview After you book in your baptism at the Parish Office, you will be telephoned by one of our Priests to arrange an interview. This is just to have an informal chat with both the mother and father about what Baptism is. You will also be given an information pack.
We look forward to hearing from you!! |
