The third test is known as the 'Rorke's Drift' Test, after a battle in 1879 in which 104 British soldiers held off 4000 Zulus. It was originally scheduled to be played after the trip to New Zealand, but was rescheduled to cash in on public interest. The British team wasn't too happy at playing three tests in 8 days, and indeed went into the game carrying a couple of passengers, but still managed to be up 9-0 at half time. Then in the first 10 minutes of the second half they lost three men to injuries, and had to play the last 30 minutes with only ten men...
