Newcastle 1915 - 1917

There were not enough players available to organise a second grade competition, so none was played.

First Grade Premiership

Central Newcastle withdrew in July due to lack of players.

At the end of the season there was not enough money in the coffers to pay for medals for the Western Suburbs players. They agreed to go without on the basis that all junior teams got their awards and trophies, and that no Northern Branch official received any honorarium.

Western Suburbs won the Potter Shield for the third time, winning it outright.
