In 1978 Manly and Cronulla drew 11-all, Manly going on to win the replay 16-0. In 1989 Balmain and Canberra were 14-all at full time, but Canberra won 19-14 after 20 minutes of extra time.
In 1951 Souths beat Manly 42-14 in the highest scoring grand final. In 1986 Parramatta beat Canterbury 4-2 in the lowest scoring (and only tryless) grand final. In 1975 Easts beat St George 38-0, the largest margin in a grand final.
