(Brisbane won the Super League premiership in 1997.)

Adelaide Rams, Auckland, Cronulla, Gold Coast, Illawarra, Melbourne Storm, and North Queensland have never won a premiership.

Total First Grade Premierships: South Sydney (20), St George (15), Balmain (11), Sydney City (11), Canterbury (7), Manly Warringah (6), Western Suburbs (4), Parramatta (4), Newtown (3), Canberra (3), North Sydney (2), Brisbane (2), Penrith (1), Newcastle (1). Five clubs have won the premiership three or more times in a row: St George (11 times, 1956--1966), South Sydney (5 times, 1925--1929), Eastern Suburbs (3 times, 1911--1913), Balmain (3 times, 1915--1917), Eastern Suburbs (3 times, 1935--1937), South Sydney (3 times, 1953--1955), and Parramatta (3 times, 1981--1983).

Five clubs have finished a season undefeated: Balmain (1915), North Sydney (1921), South Sydney (1925), Eastern Suburbs (1936 and 1937), St George (1959).

Western Suburbs took out the wooden spoon in 1933 and then won the premiership in 1934. They went on to win the premiership in 1952 and take out the wooden spoon in 1953. Canterbury took out the premiership in 1942 and the wooden spoon in 1943 and 1944.

Total Grand Finals: St George (14), South Sydney (9), Canterbury (6), Manly Warringah (6), Balmain (4), Parramatta (4), Western Suburbs (3), Canberra (3), Sydney City (2), Brisbane (2), Newtown (1), Penrith (1), Newcastle (1). (Brisbane also won the Super League grand final in 1997.)

Two clubs have won the grand final three or more years in a row: St George (11 years, 1956--1966) and Parramatta (3 years, 1981--1983).

The grand final has twice resulted in a draw. In 1977 St George and Parramatta drew 9-all after extra time, St George going on to win the replay 22-0. In 1978 Manly and Cronulla drew 11-all, Manly going on to win the replay 16-0. In 1989 Balmain and Canberra were 14-all at full time, but Canberra won 19-14 after 20 minutes of extra time.

In 1951 Souths beat Manly 42-14 in the highest scoring grand final. In 1986 Parramatta beat Canterbury 4-2 in the lowest scoring (and only tryless) grand final. In 1975 Easts beat St George 38-0, the largest margin in a grand final.
