Built by McMod member Marius Burger,
this machine is the epitomy of what one man can do with whatever is
at hand. I think he said it has just come within his budget of about US$400.
It aint pretty but must be more fun to ride than you could buy. Phil.

The complete package, apart from making the wiring neat and paint.
See details of construction below under each picture.

The other side. Now that is exhaust system styling !
Front and Rear views below for your oggling pleasure.

Engine: Mazda 1300cc with Ford bit bolted onto the back.

Drive: The Morley is a single speed - if you drop the clutch
it runs.
This shows the flange welded to the VW input shaft (on the Morley it
is the output shaft).
The XS1100 drive shaft universal coupling bolts to this.
The bell housing part of the Ford Escort trans can be seen as well.

Steerhead: I don't think it will break off.....

Swingarm: Note the upsidedown XS shaft drive and the
centreline of the
engine will be inline with the drive shaft. The battery and exhaust
on the left hand side were used to counter the weight offset.

Tank&seat: I ended up not using this tank as it interfered with the carb and air cleaner. A friend gave me a small tank that was modified to look like a HD sportster tank, I think it is from a Yamaha SR500. The seat was clobbered together on the kitchen table.

Topframe: This shows more frame detail. The front wheel and
forks are from a Honda CB400N.

Interlock: The thingey that keeps the clutch depressed - does
the job of neutral.
